A friend in Gloucester wants to buy a Morello Cherry tree..as Scott's no longer exist, where is there that she could buy one reasonably near to her...with a similar reputation?

No idea, Keepers will have them but they’re in Kent.

cherries were almost pointless by the time the entire net was destroyed; spotted wing drosophila

Again a long way away, but Deacons at Godshill on the Isle of Wight have a good selection of all sorts of fruit trees.
