How about the morels Gary? Any signs yet? Anyone??
Yes I found Morchella Elata (black morel) in woodchip on a new housing estate on Saturday. I will start my usual fruitless look for Esculenta (Common Morel) this coming weekend.

Be careful with M.elata on recently laid mulch.......that it hasn't been treated with WEEDKILLER this spring

Good point. You can never be 100% sure, but I am careful. Some people see mushrooms in thier garden and cover them in weedkiller thinking they are poisonous!
