No, it was some really peculiar black thing - all black - combs, wattles, even inside their mouths. Never mind, Im obviously losing the plot!

An update on this Facebook group and to say that I'm thrilled at how well things are going. The groups title was modified quite quickly and is now known as Old Time Poultry and Farming Ways.
