And, yes. She also said it would be great if I could make it swing, and have a canopy. Do you lot all get instructions from one Central Mad Woman?

I think WW and your hugely sensible wife are quite right. In fact I want a swinging one without the canopy to go under a Pergola I want built in Portugal.

Oh, I went over the bits you'd touch with a sander, and installed a glass/bottle shelf as an upgrade. It's now sat sitting, pond-side, and People Are Happy.

Shipping would be prohibitive, and ridiculous. However, if you're vaguely serious, say so. I have staves you can have. You have a local, dependable man with saw & hammer.

The Pergola would be made from wood sourced in Portugal. The swinging bench would be suspended by rope from the Pergola. Don't worry, the Pergola needs to be built first. With Antonio, there's time.

This one, no. Other staves I have are wide enough to allow for such refinements to be built in.

Think of this as an entrance level model.
