Hi, I want to put this on my new menu at work cos i think it will look and taste good but i dont really know what main courses to put it with so i thought i would ask.
Please remember it has to be on a budget but if you can give me some ideas i might be able to adapt them to fit.

It often seems to turn up in Christmas supplements as an accompaniment to turkey and such like...so...poultry in general "Sunday roast" setting?

***Vegetarian alert...what would I know??***

Its particularly nice if you put some apples into it while braising the cabbage, makes it really 'rounded' in flavour. Fab with sausages and mash with a bit of grainy mustard perhaps
